Nova Storm Tourney #3

Hello Nova Stormers and Battlers Alike!

I welcome you to the Opening of the 3rd Nova Storm Open Tournament! A few Nova Stormers and I have discussed the rules over which the next tournament format shall be like! After discussing how the tourney will be like and the clauses for a while, so here they are:

DESCRIPTION:

1.) The tournament shall take place on June 21st at 3 PM EST, so be prepared by then!

2.) The tournament will be Double Elimination, will contain a Maximum of 16 people, and will be Best Of 3, so First Come, First Serve!

3.) Be sure to post your In Game Name and FC in your Username so your opponent can easily write it down and so battles can take place faster!

4.) All Battles shall be sent as a Battle Video to me in order to count so I can review them... Also, I would prefer it if you PMed me the videos on my Chatango Account so I can review the battles easier!

5.) The Tournament Shall Take Place Over 2 Days (Sorry, plans got thrown in the monkey wrench again -_-)

6.) There shall be no switching of teams during the tournament... Once you select your team, you're stuck with it for the rest of the tournament!

Now, on to Clauses...

CLAUSES

1.) Mega Evo/Legendary Clause - All Mega Evolutions and Legendaries are Banned from this Tournament! (Including Ubers on the Smogon List)

2.) Stall Clause - No using Toxic or Will-o-Wisp and Spamming Recover (or any variants of it) on your participant in battle!

3.) Endless Battle Clause - No blocking your opponent from exiting their Pokémon from battle and then spamming the move Heal Pulse to keep them from KOing (This vid should help explain the clause)

4.) Sleep Clause - Limit One Pokémon to Sleep Status until it wakes up

5.) Species Clause - Limit one of the same Pokémon per team (ex: Can't have two Venusaurs or Chesnaughts on a team)

6.) ParaFlinch Clause - No Paralyzing a Pokémon and spamming a move that causes flinch with Serene Grace on your opponent

7.) Prankster Clause - Limit one Pokémon that has Prankster per team.

8.) Focus Boost Clause - No using a Pokémon that has a Focus Sash and has Quiver Dance, Shell Smash, or any move that boosts a Pokémon's Stats on it (ex: Cloyster, Venemoth, or Vivillon)

9.) Evasion Clause - Evasion Moves are Banned.

10.) OHKO Clause - One Hit Knock Out Moves are Banned.

11.) Pseudo clause: You may only use one of the following Pokemon: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon and Goodra.

And there you have it, all the rules I have listed above are in effect during this tournament! If you have any questions about the tournament or rules above, just ask me a question here or in chat! This is all I have to say right now, so until then!
