Nova's Tournament 2015

Good day to you, fellow Pokemon players.

A new tournament of excitement is about to happen on this site. Not just one tournament but actually three! You can participate in any tournament tournament you like and show your competitive Pokemon skills!

Basic rules: those rules will apply in all three tournaments. be sure to read them carefully if you're planning to join.

Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygrade, Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion are not permitted to be used in this tournament.
You can only use one Legendary Pokemon that isn't of the ban list.
You can only use one Pseudo Legendary Pokemon.
All moves are usable including OHKO moves and Dark void.

Clauses:

Species clause: you can only use one Pokemon of the same kind.
Endless battle clause: no blocking your opponent from switching out their Pokemon and then spamming the move Heal pulse to prevent them from fainting.

Items clause: you can only use let your Pokemon hold three of the same item.

New Mega Evolutions that were released in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are unusable as some players may not own the new game yet. (I don't have it yet. pats

)
Battles should be saved and sent to Unright to review and confirm wins.

It falls on the ORAS players to record battles against XY players.

Now to talk about tournaments. As said above we have three tournaments to be hosted here, first one being a Multi Tournament, the second one will be a Mono-Multi Tournament, and the last one will be a Single Weather Tournament.

First one titled as "The Mightiest Duo" is a Multi tournament where two players form a tag team and take on other teams to achieve the win and make their way to the championship. It's gonna happen in the 31st of Jan 2015 aka next Saturday.

Second one titled as "Battle of Elements" is pretty much the same as the first one except the players have to agree on a type for their teams. And that will be their mono-type being unable to use any Pokemon that isn't of that type. It's gonna happen in the 7th of Feb 2015 aka the Saturday following the first one.

Third one titled as "Weather wars" is a single format weather tournament where you can use pretty much anything that isn't of the ban list except you have to use 3 Pokemon with a weather changing move/ability. It's gonna happen in the 14th of Feb 2015.

Regarding Multi Tournaments, you must find a partner before you register for the tournament.
